Programming Background
I studied Computer Programming from 2009-2012, which I mainly dealt with C++, and I did it in Notepad++. That’s right, Notepad++. I’ve since learned that there are much, much better tools to program in, but it goes to show you how much we can all stand to learn.
I’ve spent my career mainly working in system integrations through web services with a dash of front-end development in AngularJS and VueJS.
Why I Started makingcode.io?
I’m starting makingcode.io so that I have an opportunity to share what I’ve learned and an outlet for learning new things! There are quite a few times that I read about something that sounds like it would be interesting to work with, but it did not fit into my current projects at work.
Life Outside Of Programming
I have 3 wonderful kids, that can be so challenging at times. I also have a very loving and supportive wife! Outside of programming, I generally spend my time with them and doing my best to make memorable moments that I never got growing up!
